WORKING WITH SYTLE SHEETS

These three lines were formatted with a linked style sheet. However this line was overridden by an embedded style.

Browsers have rules they follow when it comes to using different styles.
They have a built-in cascading order of rules that instructs them what to do.
Order of Importance is:

Inline styles

Embedded styles

Linked styles

Imported styles

Default browser styles

This enables me to override a style in my linked style sheet and do something different then what it calls out for. This is good when you have one page that you would like to use different formatting then what your original style sheet called out for.
